If you wanna taste something great, they make the best crownuts, ever maple, jelly, apple. There is absolutely nothing in this bakery that you can find any fault. Every item is great. Highly recommended and dealing with them for 16 years.

I drove past this, and I was like, I need to make a U- turn and check that place out. I pulled in, and I thought this place was closed because it was so dark inside. My mother and I checked this spot out, and we were very surprised at how it looked inside. We couldn't decide what to get basked good wise. We decided to get an assortment of different types of baked goods. My mother was surprised that the first cup of coffee was 25 cents, and then after that, it would be $1.25. Everyone who worked there was very nice as well and explained what the top selling items were as well. Overall everything was very delicious and it smelt amazing in there. I highly recommend going there and checking it out.

Great bakery with real quality products always fresh and the girls behind the counter always smiling and friendly I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT ! There are not many real bakeries like this around anymore

Had never been, but have heard wonderful things about Holland American Bakery, so we made it a point to stop in when driving in the area. We picked up a pumpernickel bread, a bag of rolls and some windmill cookies. ($18). My husband said the cookies were really good. My daughter took one bite and that was it. The bread was moist and tasty. The rolls were really good too. Service was hectic inside, but friendly. I'll make sure to drop in if I'm ever nearby again.

We loved our visit to the Holland Bakery! Coffee is 25 cents! And soo good. Staff is super friendly, and you can tell this place is worth it because of how busy and actively customers are coming in and out! We will be back in the years to come. We ordered a plethora of things to bring home, cheeses, coffee cakes, cookies, and more! Delicious, and the Dutch decor makes it feel like you're experiencing a culture. The windmill outside is a perfect photo op!

They have the MOST amazing EPIC maple croissants EVER! The service is also fast and the staff are extremely patient and polite. The bakery has a cute Dutch vibe and ambiance that makes you feel like a piece of Holland was transported here. The food is delicious and priced well. The baked goods are made by hand, exceptionally fresh, on site and they do not disappoint. This is by far worth the drive and my favorite place!

Cool bakery near where I live. I have driven by it multiple times, but finally decided to stop in. It was you pretty standard bakery offering cakes, cookies, pies and pastries. They were also doing a limited selection of breakfast sandwiches. We got five different pastries to try. I had the fruit turnover and my wife had the cherry turnover. Both were flakey and had a good amount of fruit inside, very good turnover. I also tried the maple cronut, excellent! My wife had a bite danish which she really liked and then saved her final pastry for the next day. Her last pastry was the cinnamon roll. She loved it. She said it was loaded with raisins (a hard pass for me) and had great flavor. Loved the options available and will definitely be stopping by again.

Where? Where do I begin to share the secret delights I discovered in Sussex??!! I'll begin with their breakfast Sammy. So warm, so simple, so perfectly satisfying! Look, sometimes you need to go back to basic deliciousness and put ham, egg, and cheese (sometimes ketchup) on an everything roll. Holland America does things right, with love. Their eggs are farm fresh and so are their rolls. They are so airy and fluffy, no bloated feelings after this, truly! Oh, don't forget how happy your pocket will be! This breakfast is dirt cheap, love it! Their sweet treats are also fresh and delicious! I've had their jelly doughnuts, cookies, and cinnamon rolls, oh my roll me out of here would you! The best part is the family feel! There are Dutch souvenirs and lots of family history all around the shop. This is a Sussex gem and if you want to get a slice of the Netherlands, this is where it's at!
